First, we want to thank you for going through the process in the purchase of our TIFFIN. We went through some different scenarios and you helped to guide us through the maze. Our first RV purchase though another Dealer ("CW") was not a good experience. We were treated very poorly. This purchase at Byerly has been very pleasant.
We were able to view the Byerly floorplan of Class A RVs they have in stock without the pressure of a salesperson hovering over us. We knew Jerry Donze and when we were ready to look in earnest we grabbed him and put him though our many questions and concerns.
After the purchase we were told the closing would be about 3-hours. We didn't understand what would take so long when after our first purchase at the other("CW") dealership they were more than happy to usher us off after the sale as quickly as possible.
We started with Eric Fitzgerald and worked through the paperwork. No pressure for any add on items. We had, before the closing, stated we wanted the extended warranty and the paperwork was ready.
Second Stop: Brandon Uhl. He took us on the tour of our new RV and showed us every inch step-by-step and made sure we were comfortable with what we were looking at before moving to the next item. This part of the closing was approximately 3-hours, Brandon then took us to Kyle Petty in the Parts Department and he showed us the gift basket provided by Byerly and what each item was used for. Laura Morgan introduced herself; we had worked with her with purchases we made at Byerly before this big purchase.
Our total closing experience took a little over 4-hours. I don't believe with all the problems we had with the first RV we purchased from "CW" we had 4-hours worth of conversations in a year and a half with them regarding how to take care of our warranty problems or even acting like they cared.
We are looking forward to a long and lasting experience.

Newest member to the Byerly family.After several years of experience with trailer camping, my wife and I decided we
wanted to step up to a motor home. In fact, I thought I had found a "deal" in a
Midwestern city 3 or 4 hours away. But in keeping with due diligence, we decided
to go ahead and call Byerly. I talked with a sales rep named Frank. I inquired about
Byerly's inventory then announced my great "deal" elsewhere. What happened I
didn't expect. Frank cautioned me. He countered my "deal" with some hard facts.
My first instinct was to argue, but decided to listen instead. What Frank said made
complete sense. We both agreed to that.
That was our welcome to Byerly. We decided we should meet Frank in person.
What we found was a thoroughly professional RV sales person. He asked us
questions about our goal? How we hoped to use a motor home? He listened
carefully, then began to suggest some options. His suggestions as well as his
questions were on target. No hype. No spin. Just working with us to think through
our options. One of those options was Just Right For Us! No doubt about it. So
Frank introduced us to the Byerly financing staff who helped us evaluate the
financial options as well. Again, no hype. No spin. Just actual common sense
If you are looking for a motor home, but you could use some practical advice and
counsel. Byerly is the place for you. This is a competent, constructive business with
staff from sales to service that intends to help you achieve your goal of owning a
motor home. The right motor home for you. We ended up purchasing a Class C that
not only fit our budget but also accomplished exactly what we hoped to accomplish

WOW, what a great experienceWOW, what a great experience we had at Byerly RV! We took delivery of our first ever RV, a 2017 Thor Four Winds 22B on Saturday February 25. Not only were my wife and I present, but our daughter, son-in-law and twin grandsons joined in the fun. After doing the dreaded paperwork with Eric, who made the process a breeze, we moved on to learning about our RV with Brandon. What can we say about Brandon...AWESOME! He was a wealth of information, and very, very patient. With four adults asking alot of questions and two 7 year old's in the mix, Brandon was kind, knowledgeable and fun. Even our grandsons paid attention. Next we met with Steve and Bill who explained our Blue Ox tow system. They too were thorough and patient with us first timers. Last, and most important, we can't say enough about our salesman Frank. He made the magic happen. We first met Frank at the St. Louis RV show. Since this is our first RV, he had the task of explaining the ins and outs of the process. He too was patient and knowledgeable, and we never felt pressured throughout the purchase. Pleasant ExperienceWe completed our purchase and took ownership of a new Class A, our third unit, and the folks at Byerly RV were the very best we've dealt with. Service DepartmentI walked in carrying the heater anode that I thought needed replacing, intending to buy a new one. The lady at the counter (sorry, I don't have her name) told me the anode was fine and would probably not need replacing for another year. I mentioned that I needed air in the tires and she told me to bring it in and they'd take care if it.
I'm sure there are many places that would have taken advantage of my ignorance and sold me a new one but, instead, she chose to educate me about my trailer.
And then, the next day I met Randy and Tom who did such a great job. What a wonderful place!
Not only have you gained a new customer for life, but I'll make sure my friends know about my experience.
I stopped in on my way out of town to get air in the tires of my horse trailer. I had already loaded my horse and was concerned about the length of time it would take. I was assured they would make it as quick as possible. In talking to Tom Grass, he asked if i had dewinterized the plumbing system yet. I had not. he offered to do it quickly and I was very grateful since I am still a novice at taking care of this larger horse trailer with the living quarters. While Randy Hawk was working on the dewinterization, a number of other things were discussed. Randy and Tom were incredibly helpful and addressed the issues that were safety related, not just convenience or cosmetic. I was on my way in a short time with a number of things fixed that were very important. I can not really express what a really terrific experience this was due to Tom and Randy. They truly went above and beyond and I left there not just happy, but safer. They have made me a permanent customer of Byerly. I will never go anywhere else. Passport travel trailerMy husband and I have looked at several travel trailers during the last few years. We decided on Byerly because we heard good reviews and good service from friends. We bought a 2015 Passport and the service team went through everything with us. we are looking forward to using this travel trailer "for the rest of our life." Rob Kaiser is a great member of their sales team. He asked us what we wanted and was able to find us just what we asked for in a travel trailer. Gemini rentalMike Stika gave us the orientation on the Gemini 23 ft we rented. Our trip was great and Mike was wonderful. He gave us his number to call if we had any questions. We had to call him only once, on the weekend after hours and he answered quickly. He didn't make us feel like we were bothering him at all. He also immediately answered our text the following day . We have bought two travel trailers from Byerly and have always been pleased with the personal and attentive service we receive from everyone there. We recently found ourselves in need of a repair to our awning, we were hopeful would be covered by warranty since the problem occurred after only a few short trips and was not due to negligence on our part. Forest River ultimately denied the claim we still needed the repair before our next trip. I am not writing this letter to complain, but rather to praise Byerly for the outstanding customer-focused care and service they provided. We were looking at a very pricey repair we didn't feel responsible for and needed it completed quickly. The service department worked miracles by ordering a different brand of awning material to replace our damaged one and deeply discounting the total repair cost for us. They went out of their way to keep us happy, informed, and satisfied with all aspects of the repair process.
